Junior Varsity Wrestling, Varsity Wrestling · Panther Wrestlers Finish 1st at Jeff Giles Memorial Tournament

The Panther Wrestlers were in action over the weekend competing at the 5th annual Jeff Giles Memorial Tournament hosted by Minneapolis High School. The Panthers finished in 1st place as a team with 169 points.

The Panthers were led by individual champions Jordan Anguish and Keyan Miller. Jordan Anguish finished the day 4-0 with 3 falls, and Keyan Miller finished the day 5-0 with 4 falls. Finishing in 2nd place for the Panthers was Sajen Kemling, Koby Tyler and Daniel Vines. Third place finishers were Nathan Brown and Shelby Giersch. Finishing in 4th place was Toby Wahlmeier and Dalton Owen. Placing out of the top four but scoring team points were Eastan Hake, Layton Kindel, Robert Trost and Anthony Bieker.

The Junior Varsity competed along side the varsity at the Jeff Gils Memorial Tournament. Logan Leiszler, Kassidy Leiszler and Torxsten Kindel finished the day 2-0. Austin Wilson and Gunnar Hale both picked up 1 win on the day. Bergen Kindel and Michael Ashland finished the day 0-2.
